There is still some distance between Inter and Barcelona over Lautaro Martinez according to a report from the online edition of Spanish news outlet Sport.

Barcelona have been courting Lautaro for several months now and as per this report they want to pay no more than €65 million plus one player for the highly rated 23-year-old Argentine national team player.

Inter are however holding out for at least €85 million for Lautaro, who still has around three years left on his contract with the Nerazzurri club.

The report adds that Barcelona are prepared to let Arturo Vidal leave for free to join Inter as a gesture to facilitate negotiations between the clubs over Lautaro.

Sport also go on to claim that Lautaro’s representatives will be in Milan in the coming days to take stock of their client’s situation with Inter management.

Manchester City are also interested in signing Lautaro but the player has already agreed terms with Barcelona and has his mind set on a move to the Camp Nou.

Lautaro communicated his desire to move to Barcelona to Inter back in June and the report concludes that the coming days will be key when it comes to whether there is the possibility for a move to happen or not.
