Aleksandar Kolarov will complete his transfer from Roma to Inter today according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
The veteran Serbian defender needs to undergo the second part of his Inter medical and will then put pen to paper on his contract with the club.
Kolarov has agreed to a one year contract with an option to a second year, which will be triggered automatically once a set amount of appearances have been made. He will earn €3 million a year and Inter will pay a total of €1.5 million, including add-ons to Roma to sign him.
The report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to state that Kolarov could meet his new Inter teammates and new manager Antonio Conte this afternoon at the Suning Training Centre in memory of Angelo Moratti.
Last season the 34-year-old scored seven goals and provided five assists in 42 appearances across all competitions.
