Aleksandar Kolarov’s agent Alessandro Lucci has shared his delight at his client’s imminent arrival at Inter from Roma.

Kolarov underwent the first part of his medical yesterday and has underwent the second part of the medical today ahead of joining the club on a reported one year deal with an option to a second year worth €3 million a year.

Inter and Roma have agreed a deal worth €1.5 million in total for the veteran Serbian national team defender, who is capable of playing at left back, left wing-back and as a centre back.

“It is certainly a great satisfaction, a great opportunity. How did this idea come about? Now a lot of time has passed, I don’t remember,” Lucci explained to the gathered reporters after leaving Inter headquarters, as quoted by GianlucaDiMarzio.com.

Lucci also represents current Inter and Uruguayan national team midfielder Matias Vecino and was quizzed on his future with the Nerazzurri club amid reports that he could be one of several players to be moved on before the transfer window closing at the start of next month.

“Vecino leaving? We haven’t yet focused on this next goal, then we’ll tackle it calmly.”
