Barcelona will do everything that they can to bring Lautaro Martinez to the club according to a report from the online edition of Argentine news outlet Olé.
Barcelona have a long-standing obsession with the highly rated 23-year-old Argentine national team player who is said to be intrigued by the idea of linking up with national team teammate Lionel Messi at Barcelona.
The report goes on to state that despite Inter’s denials and people connected with Inter’s statements saying Lautao will not be moving, Barcelona will still proceed with their pursuit of him and they know that Lautaro wishes to leave Serie A. The report adds that Barcelona’s obession with Lautaro is currently more alive than ever.
During the 2019/20 season, Lautaro made 49 appearances across all competitions. In just shy of 3600 minutes on the park, the former Racing Club player scored 21 goals and provided seven assists in total for his Nerazzurri teammates.
