Inter want €40 million for central midfielder Marcelo Brozovic according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

Brozovic is part of a domino effect containing numerous clubs and the first domino that needs to fall is Arturo Vidal, whose imminent departure from Barcelona will free up space for them to sign Georginio Wijnaldum.

The Dutchman has been linked with Barcelona and needs to leave Liverpool to enable them to make an offer for Bayern Munich’s Thiago Alcantara and the money Bayern Munich receieve for Thiago would then go toward signing Brozovic.

Brozovic is one of the top candidates to be sacrificed in order to raise funds to allow Inter to pursue a move for Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante.

Inter have set an asking price for the Croatian national team player, a high figure for Bayern Munich at the moment but it will be less for them if they sell Thiago as well as Javi Martinez.

The report explains that there was further contact between Bayern Munich and Brozovic’s agent this past weekend with the German club tabling him a four year deal worth around €5 million.

Inter would like to include Ivan Perisic in negotiations with Bayern over Brozovic and this is something that Bayern appreciate but it all depends on the money it will take because despite winning the Champions League they want to spend as little as possible. The reason for this is due to the revenue that Bayern Munich have lost due to COVID-19 pandemic.
