Arturo Vidal is very close to becoming an Inter player according to a report from the onlin edition of Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo.
The Chilean national team player has reached an agreement with Barcelona to terminate his contract with them after he told the Blaugrana club, via his agent Fernando Felicevich, that he was willing to give up part of the salary due to him.
Vidal has already agreed terms with Inter on the basis of a two year contract with an option to a third year worth €6 million a year to him.
Inter manager Antonio Conte hopes to be able to have the Chilean national team player at his disposal as soon as possible and the pair will be reunited after a number of years apart.
During the 2019/20 season, former Bayern Munich player Vidal made 43 appearances across all competitions, in which he scored eight goals and provided his teammates with three assists.
