Fiorentina director Daniele Prade has revealed that the club have not receieved any offers for star man Federico Chiesa.

Chiesa is widely regarded as one of the best Italian prospects out there at the moment and has long been linked with a potential transfer away from La Viola.

Inter and Juventus in particular have been linked with moving for him for several years and he has also drawn links to clubs outside of Italy as well.

“The president was clear. In case of fair offers, we would have let him go but to date they have never arrived and Federico is doing very well. We will go on like this, we’ll see at October 5th if things have changed or not,” Prade explained in an interview with the website of Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, GianlucaDiMarzio.com.

Prade also discussed the recent return of Cristiano Biraghi who spent the 2019/20 season out on loan at fellow Serie A club Inter.

Dalbert joined Fiorentina on loan as part of the Biraghi to Inter loan deal and it looked as if the two loans would be renewed for another season but no agreement has been reached nor does it look like one will be.

He added: “We strongly wanted to keep Biraghi, at the request of the coach.”

Prade also discussed the imminent return of Borja Valero, who recently left Inter when his contract expired, and the imminent departure of Marco Benassi.

“We took 24-48 hours to reflect. The former is one of the strongest players I have ever bought, while the latter is strong for me but needs more space to play.”
