Talks between Arturo Vidal and Barcelona over a contract termination have reached a deadlock according to a report from the online edition of Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo.
Vidal is demanding what remains of his contract plus the bonuses Barcelona are still due him. The bonuses alone are worth €2.4 million and Vidal has already made a complaint to the Spanish players union about this back in January.
Vidal has just under a year left to run on his contract with the Blaugrana club and once he reaches an agreement with Barcelona, he is to join Inter, who he has already agreed a contract with.
As per various reports in the media, the experienced Chilean national team player, who can count Bayern Munich and Juventus among his former clubs, has agreed to a two year deal with an option to a third year worth €6 million a year.
In the 2019/20 season, Vidal made 43 appearances, in which he scored eight goals and provided three assists for his teammates.
