Inter are prepared to take advantage of the distance between David Alaba and Bayern Munich in contract renewal talks according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper La Repubblica.
Alaba’s contract with the German giants is due to expire at the end of the upcoming season and he would like €20 million gross per year from Bayern Munich to sign a new contract.
However the Champions League holders are only prepared to offer €11 million plus €6 million in add-ons gross per season.
The report goes onto to state that the distance between the parties only feeds rumours of a potential departure for Alaba and it adds that Inter are ready to make a move to sign Alaba in a bid to increase their chances of winning the Serie A title.
The report also states that when it comes to their pursuit of Arturo Vidal, Inter could maybe have him at the club during the week maybe over the weekend.
