Negotiations between Arturo Vidal and Barcelona over a contract termination are on the final straight according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere della Sera.

Vidal is trying to terminate his contract with the Balaugrana to enable him to join Inter on a free transfer but there is currently a small but not insurmountable difference of €2 million separating Vidal and Barcelona in talks.

Many reports have stated that Vidal has been on the verge of joining Inter for a number of days and it has also widely been reported that the Chilean national team player has already agreed personal terms with the Nerazzurri club, who have been courtinh him for a considerable amount of time.

Inter manager Antonio Conte has wanted Vidal signed since he took charge of Inter last Summer and it appears that he will finally get his man in the not too distant future.
