Inter have sent a message to their competition in Serie A with their signing of Achraf Hakimi according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
Inter signed Hakimi in a €45 million deal from Real Madrid a few months ago and formally presented him to the media yesterday.
Antonio Conte’s 3-5-2 system appears to be the ideal system to make Hakimi even more devastting and seems almost tailor made for the highly rated Moroccan natonal team player.
Inter were impressed with Hakimi when they came up against him in the Champions League and it is no coincidence that he was Inter’s first signing as they look to launch a title challenge.
The report states that Inter’s acquistion of Hakimi is a strong signal of intent that the club are back. Hakimi has plenty of energy and can make a contribution on both the goalscoring front and assisting front.
