Inter manager Antonio Conte and club management are to decide whether Ivan Perisic can return to being part of the team’s project according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Perisic spent the 2019/20 season on loan at Bayern Munich and was largely expected to complete a permanent transfer to them but Bayern Munich yesterday decided that they would not be signing him despite there only being minimal distance between what they were willing to pay, €12 million, and what Inter were demanding, €15 million.

Perisic, who does not fit Conte’s system, is back in training with Inter but him being at the club right now complicates the club’s transfer plans as Inter need to make sales in order to complete further transfer business.

Marcelo Brozovic has also been linked with a potential move to Bayern Munich and Inter want at least €40 million for him but now also these signings are looking more and more uncertain.
