Lautaro Martinez’s representatives have held talks with Barcelona and Real Madrid according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Italia, which was aired a short time ago.

The Inter and Argentine national team striker’s representatives were recently in Spain and held talks with both the Blaugrana and Los Blancos but the report claims that Lautaro will stay with Inter and will put pen to paper on a new and improved contract.

The recently turned 23-year-old is under contract until the end of the 2022/23 season and his current salary could be more than doubled as part of a new contract with this report stating that he could receive a salary between €6-6.5 million as part of a new contract.

Lautaro joined Inter in the Summer of 2018 from Argentine side Racing Club and last season was his first as a regular starter at the club. In 49 appearances across all competitions, Lautaro scored 21 goals and tallied seven assists.
