Barcelona’s interest in Lautaro Martinez is still alive according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, which was aired a short time ago.

The 23-year-old Argentine national team player’s representatives are currently in Catalonia to see if Barcelona are ready to present Inter with an attractive offer and even if they are prepared to do so, they are facing a real uphill battle.

The report from Sport Mediaset goes on to explain that Inter have absolutely no intention of selling the former Racing Club attacker, who now seems destined to remain at Inter despite months of courtship from Barcelona, who he has reportedly already agreed terms with.

Lautaro joined Inter in the Summer of 2018 and is contracted to the club until 2023 and various reports have stated that Inter wish to extend his deal until 2025. Last season he scored a career high 21 goals and provided seven assists in 49 appearances across all competitions for the club.
