Chelsea Reject Inter’s Offer Of Swapping Marcelo Brozovic For N’Golo Kante UK Media Reports

Chelsea have knocked back an offer from Inter for central midfielder N’Golo Kante according to a report from the online edition of British newspaper The Telegraph.

As per the report, Inter offered Marcelo Brozovic as part of a deal for the diminutive French national team player but Chelsea turned it down and also informed Inter that they have no interest in doing a deal for Kante that would involve Christian Eriksen either.

Kante is widely reported as being at the top of Inter manager Antonio Conte’s transfer wishlist and although Chelsea have no interest in obtaining Brozovic or Eriksen, the Croatian and Dane could still be key for Inter being able to sign Kante, who Chelsea reportedly want in the region of €60 million for.

The 29-year-old midfielder, who has been with Chelsea since 2016 and is under contract with them until 2023, made 28 appearances across all competitions last term, in which he scored three goals.
