Inter and Barcelona are in talks over central midfielder Arturo Vidal according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia journalist and transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio.

Vidal is in the process of trying to terminate his contract with Barcelona in order to free himself up to join Inter on a free transfer and now the clubs are talking to one another.

“Barcelona and Inter are talking to quickly free the midfielder, contacts are underway to make him arrive as soon as possible,” Di Marzio explained a short while ago during his show ‘CalcioMercato L’Originale’.

Inter have been courting the experienced Chilean national team player for over a year now and finally look set to get their hands on their man in the not so distant future.

As per various other reports to have done the rounds in the media as of late, Vidal has already agreed a two year contract which comes with an option to a third year with Inter from which he will earn a total of €6 million a year from.
