Inter have already started talks with Gervinho’s representatives over a move to the club according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

Inter manager Antonio Conte appreciates the Ivorian’s talent and believes a player of Gervinho’s ilk is missing from his squad as he is short, quick and capable of doing things that can change matches.

At 33-years-old, Gervinho is certainly not lacking experience and whilst he would certainly not be a like for like back-up option to Romelu Lukaku, he could prove useful as a fourth choice striker option for the Nerazzurri.

Inter currently have other priorities to signing Gervinho and must go about reducing their squad before making any other moves on the incoming front.

Gervinho has already receieved a contract offer of €3 million a year from Benevento but the possibility of being able to play for Inter means he is currently waiting before making any decision.

The report concludes that the very good relations between Inter and Parma mean that the transfer of Gervinho between the clubs can be taken into serious consideration and that things could develop at the end of the transfer window.
