Inter’s interest in Chelsea’s Olivier Giroud and Hellas Verona’s Marash Kumbulla has been reignited, according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sportitalia earlier today.

The report details how the Frenchman, who was incredibly close to a move to Milan back in January, would cost around €5 million and would be open to leave the London based club, due to his lower position on coach Frank Lampard’s hierarchies.

The Nerazzurri may look to sign the player should they earn more from their outgoing sales, as a backup for Romelu Lukaku is still needed.

With Diego Godin set to join Cagliari and Andrea Ranocchia close to signing for Genoa, Inter are looking to bring in a new defender, the report continues.

The Milanese club are once again interested in signing Hellas Verona’s Marash Kumbulla, who has failed to find a move away from the Gialloblu this summer despite the interest from both the Nerazzurri and Lazio.
