Inter would be open to selling Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic for around €35-40 million, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.
The report details how the 27-year-old’s agent has arrived in Milan to discuss a possible transfer away from the Nerazzurri, amidst the serious interest from Ligue 1 side AS Monaco.
A meeting has been set with Niko Kovac’s side to discuss a possible transfer. Brozovic previously had a release clause of €60 million, but the Milanese club would be open to selling him for a lower fee of €35-40 million.
Inter are looking to generate funds and free up space in the squad in order to sign coach Antonio Conte’s top midfield target, Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante, who is valued at around €50 million by the London based club.
Brozovic made 46 appearances across all competitions last season, scoring three goals and providing eight assists in that time.
