Inter have guaranteed that they have not received any interest from European finalists Paris Saint-Germain in Slovakian defender Milan Skriniar, despite recent reports suggesting otherwise, according to an article from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
The article details how recent reports have suggested that PSG are using an intermediary to try and sign the 25-year-old Slovakian defender, whose future at Inter seems unclear after his struggles adapting to coach Antonio Conte’s tactical system.
Inter have denied any interest from the French champions in their player, the article continues, and indications from France say the same.
Skriniar is likely to be sold in this transfer window as the Nerazzurri look to offload players not needed by Conte in order to fund other, more important investments, like Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante, who would cost around €50 million.
The 25-year-old, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2023, made 42 appearances last season.
