Inter are set to focus on signing Chelsea left back Marcos Alonso after securing the signature of Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Corriere della Sera.

The report details how the Milanese club are close to signing the 33-year-old Chilean, who is set to agree a contract termination with Barcelona over the coming days.

The Nerazzurri are also working to sell Brazilian left back Dalbert, who is not needed in coach Antonio Conte’s project in the Lombardy capital, and so need a replacement for the left wing back role.

Conte’s current top choice is 29-year-old Spaniard Marcos Alonso, the report continues, with the 51-year-old Italian remembering the player’s strengths from their time together at Chelsea.

The Nerazzurri management want to satisfy the request of the former Juventus and Italy coach and so will work on securing the Spanish left back’s signature.
