Parma are ahead in the race to sign Inter starlet Sebastiano Esposito on loan, according to a report from Italian media outlet AlfredoPedulla.com earlier today.
The report details how the 18-year-old Italian forward impressed coach Antonio Conte in last summer’s pre-season training camp, earning regular callups to the Nerazzurri first team.
After a season working alongside the top pros like Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez, the Milanese club have now decided that it is time for the teenager to spend a season away on loan in order to earn more consistent playing time to develop.
Many clubs have shown interest in acquiring Esposito on loan, the report continues, but in pole position is Fabio Liverani’s Parma, who have made more concrete efforts to acquire the Italian teenager.
Before any negotiations are completed, Inter want to guarantee how many appearances will be given to Esposito, in order to ensure a proper development.
