Inter returnees Radja Nainggolan and Ivan Perisic will have two weeks to convince coach Antonio Conte to leave them in the squad, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
The report details how both players spent last season out on loan, with the Belgian midfielder impressing with Cagliari and the Croatian forward winning the Treble with Bayern Munich, even featuring in the Champions League final.
Both players returned to Inter and offers have not been flooding in, the report continues, forcing the Milanese club to consider keeping both players.
Perisic has chosen the shirt number 14, the report continues, the one previously used by Nainggolan in his first season at Inter, although now the Belgian can use number 44, previously worn with Roma.
Conte is open to keeping both players but needs to be impressed in the next two weeks of the pre-season training camp.
