Barcelona and Arturo Vidal’s representatives should reach an agreement over a contract termination today according to a report from Catalan broadcaster Esport3 which was broadcast a short time ago.
The parties have been in discussions since this morning and an agreement should be reached today, or at the latest tomorrow.
The main obstacle needing to be overcome at the moment is the economic conditions of his transfer to Inter. Vidal remains intent on being paid all that is due to him whilst Barcelona would like Inter to pay a small fee for him and they would let Vidal go without paying him the final year of his contract.
The 32-year-old former Bayern Munich midfielder has long been a target of Inter and the Nerazzurri are edging closer and closer to acquiring the Chilean national team player after every minute.
Multiple reports have stated that Vidal has agreed a two year contract with Inter with an option to a third year that is worth €6 million a year to him.
