Inter have finalised negotiations with FC Luzern to sign Darian Males according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Negotiations between the two clubs took place over a few weeks and Males is now set to become an Inter player. Upon arriving at Inter, the Swiss youngster is destined to go out on loan to fellow Serie A club Genoa.

The report, which does not provide any details of the agreement between Inter and FC Luzern, also reveales that Males had been close to joining Parma but their sporting director Daniele Faggiano’s departure for Genoa changed things.

19-year-old Males is a highly versatile player with him capable of playing as a striker, winger and attacking midfielder.

Last season the Swiss under-19 national team representative had his first team breakthrough at FC Luzern and in 21 appearances across all competitions he scored two goals and provided four assists for his teammates.
