Inter could let Christian Eriksen leave the club for a sum of €40 million according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

The seemingly imminent arrival of Arturo Vidal will further limit the already limited playing time that the Danish national team player has had to put up with since his arrival in a circa €20 million deal from Tottenham Hotspur in the January transfer window.

If Inter get an offer of €40 million they could accept it, they may even accept an offer of €35 million for the former Ajax man who has not performed to expectations since arriving at the Nerazzurri club.

Since joining Inter on a four and a half year contract, Eriksen has made 26 appearances across all competitions but he has only been on the pitch for 1076 minutes. During his time on the field, the 28-year-old has scored four goals and provided three assists for his teammates.
