Lautaro Martinez’s agent Beto Yaque has dismissed recent media speculation linking his client with a potential move to Real Madrid and insisted that he will be staying at Inter.
Reports in the media had suggested that Yaque had met with Real Madrid to hold talks over Lautaro and one report even suggested that Lautaro had agreed an €8 million a year deal with Real Madrid who could have offered €50-60 million plus Luka Jovic but Yaque has rubbished the reports.
“We came to greet Piero Ausilio, it is a courtesy visit. Real Madrid or Barcelona? No, there is nothing. It is just a courtesy visit.
“Will Lautaro be staying stay? Yes, he will be staying at Inter,” he explained to the gathered media outside of Inter headquarters after meeting with Inter management at Inter headquarters a short time ago.
Lautaro is currently under contract with Inter until the end of the 2022/23 season and it has been widely reported that Inter will look to tie him down to a new and improved contract.
During the 2019/20 season, the highly rated 23-year-old made 49 appearances across all competitions, in which he scored 21 goals and provided seven assists for his teammates.
