There are currently two strikers Inter are considering to be the fourth choice striker according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

The players in question are Chelsea’s Olivier Giroud plus Napoli’s Fernando Llorente and the report explains that of the two, Giroud is currently the favourite to be signed.

Inter have been linked with moving for Giroud for several months now and following all the recent arrivals at the Blues, Giroud will be allowed to leave for just €5 million.

The problem for Inter however is that Giroud has put a move to their arch rivals Juventus at the top of his priorities seeing as he is seen as the first alternative to Luis Suarez and Edin Dzeko to replace Gonzalo Higuain.

As for Llorente, he is in a similar situation in that new signings at Napoli have pushed him towards the exit door. As things stand the veteran Spaniard, who is appreciated by Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta, is waiting on the right offer.
