Lautaro Martinez could join Real Madrid in a player plus cash deal according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, which was aired a short time ago.

An agreement in principle has been found between Lautaro’s representatives and Los Blancos and Inter could well sacrifice the 23-year-old Argentine in order to fund a move for Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante, who Inter manager Antonio Conte wants signed.

Inter would like between €50-60 million for the Argentine national team player and a deal could possibly include Luka Jovic on a loan with option to buy basis.

As per the report, Lautaro has agreed a contract with €8 million a year with Real Madrid, which is €2 million less than the contract he is widely reported to have agreed with Barcelona.

Last season Lautaro made 49 appearances across all competitions. During his time on the field, the former Racing Club player scored a career high 21 goals and provided seven assists for his teammates.
