Real Madrid are not interested in signing Inter striker Lautaro Martinez according to several media outlets in Spain and Italy.

There have been reports of meetings between Lautaro’s agents Beto Yaque and Sergio Zarate and Barcelona and Real Madrid and the Los Merengues offering cash plus Luka Jovic for the Argentinian striker.

However, according to online version of Spanish newspaper ABC, Real Madrid deny the report stating these is absolutely false.

Real Madrid are unwilling to bet on Lautaro due to the fact Luka Jovic wants to stay with Los Blancos for at least another season after a disastrous first season with the club, Italian media outlet Corriere dello Sport report.

Italian media outlet FcInterNews report that there have been no contacts between the clubs about a transfer concerning Lautaro Martinez, adding that his agents are to meet with Inter to discuss a contract extension over the next few days.

Lautaro has long been linked with a move to Barcelona and he has also drawn links to Manchester City but various reports have stated that Inter have clear ideas with regard to Lautaro and they want to keep him at the club and sign him to a new and improved contract.

Last season he made 49 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he scored 21 goals and provided seven assists for his teammates.
