If Lautaro Martinez does not join Barcelona this year he will join them next year at least according to a report from the online edition of Spanish news outlet AS.
Barcelona really want to bring the 23-year-old Argentine national team player to the club and are trying everything possible to get Inter to accept offers for the former racing club player.
Inter are however standing firm with their stance that they are not up for selling Lautaro although the report warns that Inter’s interest in signing Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal could well bring the parties closer.
Lautaro has been with Inter since 2018 and has a contract with the Nerazzurri club through to the end of the 2022/23 season.
During the recently concluded 2019/20 season, Lautaro made 49 appearances across all competitions. In his time on the park, he scored a career high 21 goals and also provided his teammates with a total of seven assists.
