Inter are in the process of finalising a deal to bring Matteo Darmian to the club according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper La Stampa.
Inter have been linked with moving for Darmian for several weeks now and appear to be on the brink of bringing him to the club from fellow Serie A side Parma.
It has been widely reported that Inter and Parma have had an agreement in place over the versatile defender ever since he joined Parma from Premier League club Manchester United last Summer.
30-year-old Darmian will reportedly sign a four year contract with Inter and will be able to fulfil various roles in the side as he is more than capable of playing at left back, right back, left wing-back, right wing-back and centre back too.
Last season the former Torino player made 34 appearances across all competitions, in which he scored one goal and provided a single assist.
