It cannot be ruled out that Kwadwo Asamoah’s contract with Inter could be terminated according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Ghanaian defender has just under a year left to run on his contract with Inter and he could leave Inter immediately if his contract with the club is terminated.

Asamoah barely featured whatsoever last season as a result of a recurring knee problem and he is also far from first choice in the pecking order at the club.

In recent weeks the 31-year-old has drawn links to several clubs including Turkish Super Lig giants Galatasaray and Fenerbahce. Newly promoted Crotone and Benevento have both also been linked with him.

The former Juventus defender, who joined Inter on a free transfer in the Summer of 2018, was limited to just 11 appearances across all competitions last term and in just under 900 minutes on the park he provided a single assist for his teammates.
