Inter have told the representatives of midfielder Marcelo Brozovic that he is no longer central to the club’s project according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

The Croatian national team player is seen as a player who could be moved on to raise all impotant funds for the transfer window and in this sense the possibility of a move to Monaco remains very much alive, even if for the time being the Ligue 1 club have not offered anything better than a loan with option to by deal.

Inter want to bring in Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante to bolster the club’s midfield whilst Atletico Madrid’s Thomas Partey is seen as an alternative.

In order to sign one of the two players Inter need to make sales and if it is not Brozovic it could be central defender Milan Skriniar who is sold to raise transfer funds.
