It is almost impossible for Lautaro Martinez to end up at Barcelona according to a report in today’s print edition of Spanish news outlet AS.

The Blaugrana club have been courting the Inter and Argentine national team striker for a considerbale amount of time but the global COVID-19 pandemic has changed everything.

Lautaro seemed set for a move to the Catalonia based side and has reportedly agreed a five year contract with them but due to the COVID-19 crisis Barcelona have lost some €300 million in revenues meaning a move for Lautaro is currently only a pipe dream for them,

The 23-year-old, who joined Inter in 2018 from Racing Club, is contracted to Inter until 2023 although various reports in the media have stated that Inter will sign him to a new contract once the transfer window comes to a close at the start of next month.

Last season Lautaro made 49 appearances across all competitions, in which he scored 21 goals and provided seven assists for his teammates.
