Bayern Munich do not have an interest in signing Inter central midfielder Marcelo Brozovic according to a report from German journalist Christian Falk, who works for BILD.

For several weeks now the reigning Champions League holders have been linked with making a move for Brozovic to replace Thiago Alcantara, who could reportedly leave the German club.

Falk however claims that reports of Bayern Munich having an interest in signing Croatian national team player Brozovic are not ture.

Falk also claims that Bayern Munich have no interest in former Dinamo Zagreb man Brozovic due to the fact that they have decided he is not of the necessary quality.

Brozovic joined Inter back in 2015 and is still under contract with Inter for just under two more years. Various reports have stated that Inter are not opposed to selling Brozovic due to their need to raise transfer funds to pursue transfer targets, especially Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante.

Falk took to Twitter and posted: “Because of many reports about interest from Bayern Munich in Marcelo Brozović: this is not true. The club decided the player of does not have the necessary quality.”
