Romelu Lukaku is new Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman’s dream signing for his attack but a deal for Lukaku is impossible for finacial reasons according to a report from Catalan radio station Radio Catalunya, which was broadcast earlier on today.
Koeman’s desire to sign Lukaku comes contrary to club management who all want his teammate Lautaro Martinez to be signed but the report goes on to explain that neither Lukaku nor Lautaro will be moving to Barcelona, at least for now.
The Belgian and Argentine national team striker’s formed a formidable partnership last season in their first season together and scored 55 goals between them with Lukaku grabbing himself a career high 34 goals and Lautaro also grabbing himself a career high of 21 goals.
Both players are absolutely pivotal for Inter and under contract with Inter for the foreseeable future. Lukaku is contracted to Inter until 2024 and Lautaro has a contract with Inter until the end of the 2022/23 season.
