Lautaro Martinez’s agents want their client to be handed €7 million a year by Inter as part of a new contract according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, which was aired a short time ago.

His representatives demands come following offers rangings between €8-10 million a year from Real Madrid and Barcelona and the demands are several times what the highly rated 23-year-old currently earns with the Nerazzurri club.

In addition to wanting €7 million a year for their client, the report from Sport Mediaset goes on to explain that they also do not want his €111 million release clause to be eliminated from his contract, something Inter management are reportedly keen on eliminating or at very least increasing it.

Lautaro joined Inter in the Summer of 2018 and still has just under three years left to run on his current deal with the club. Last season the Argentine made 49 appearances across all competitions, in which he scored 21 goals and provided seven assists for his teammates.
