There is no doubt that Inter will bring Andrea Pinamonti back to the club but there is a big issue that needs to be resolved a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was broadcast a short time ago, states.

Inter and Genoa have a gentleman’s agreement over the Italian youth national team player and Pinamonti will, in all likelihood, return to Inter on a loan with obligation to buy basis.

However, the report from the broadcaster highlights the fact that Pinamonti would have just a year left on his contract if/when he returns to Inter therefore it is necessary for his contract to be extended.

The 21-year-old forward is also unlikely to remain at Inter if/when he returns to the club, the report adds.

Last season Pinamonti, who is a product of Inter’s youth academy, made 34 appearances across all competitions for Genoa, in which he scored seven goals and tallied three assists.
