Inter have confirmed the signing of promising youngster Darian Males via an official statement posted on the club’s website.

The Swiss youth national team representative underwent his medical with the club yesterday and has joined Inter from Swiss Super League club FC Luzern and has joined the Nerazzurri club on a five year contract.

Inter have not disclosed the fee paid to FC Luzern for the versatile player, who is capable of playing as a striker, winger and attacking midfielder.

Recent reports in the media have however suggested that Inter would pay FC Luzern a sum of €4 million plus add-ons for the 19-year-old.

Other reports in the media have stated that Males will be sent out on loan to Genoa in order to get more regular playing time than he would at Inter.

Last season Males made his breakthrough at FC Luzern with him managing to score two goals and provide four assists in 21 appearances across all competitions.
