Inter and Genoa could do a number of deals between them before the transfer window closes at the beginning of next month according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
The first deal will be one that will see Andrea Pinamonti return to Inter. A deal has been set up on the basis of a €5 million loan with obligation to buy set at €15/16 million.
Inter tried to delay honouring the gentleman’s agreement with Genoa but Genoa president Enrico Preziosi pushed for them to honour it immediately.
In order for the deal to be finalised, Inter must strike an agreement with Pinamonti’s agent Mino Raiola. Pinamonti currently earns €3 million at Genoa, which is several times the €800,000 a year he earned when he was at Inter therefore a new contract will need to be agreed.
The report also claims that Juventus made an attempt to sign Pinamonti and offered €14/15 million for him, an offer Genoa rejected. The very strong relations between them and Genoa certainly helped and the relations have been further strengthened by the arrival of Daniele Faggiano at the Rossoblu as sporting director.
New Inter striker Darian Males, who joined the club earlier this week from FC Luzern, could be sent out on loan to the Rossoblu club and he could be followed to Liguria by central defender Andrew Gravillon, who is now back at Inter after spending last season out on loan at Ascoli.
