Antonio Candreva’s departure will allow Inter to finalise a deal to bring Arturo Vidal to the club according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
Candreva is subject to interest from fellow Serie A side Genoa whilst Vidal is simply waiting on the green light to arrive in Milan.
In other circumstances, the delay would have cast doubt over negotiations but there is no doubt in these circumstances. Vidal has chosen Inter and after over a years worth of courtship from Inter, he will become an Inter player soon.
The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to state that Inter manager Antonio Conte has already decided on where he will utilise Vidal in his side.
As per the report, former Italian national team player Conte intends to utilise the Chilean national team player as an attacking midfielder in a 3-4-1-2 system.
