Inter have identified Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic as the ideal replacement for Milan Skriniar according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia journalist and transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio during his show, which was broadcast late last night.
Skriniar has been linked with a potential exit from Inter for a few weeks now with Paris Saint-Germain reportedly very keen on signing him.
Should the Slovakian national team player go on to leave the club, Inter could well move for Milenkovic but it will be far from easy to acquire him. Fiorentina value him at €40 million and Inter’s city rivals AC Milan are also interested in signing the 22-year-old Serbian national team player.
Last season Milenkovic, who is under contract with La Viola until 2022, made 41 appearances across all competitions. In his time on the park, which totalled just over 3600 minutes, the former Partizan Belgrade player scored a total of five goals.
