Reigning Serie A champions Juventus are monitoring the situation of Genoa striker Andrea Pinamonti according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

The Italian youth national team player is widely expected to complete a return to Inter due to a gentleman’s agreement in place between Inter and Genoa and Inter met with his agent Mino Raiola yesterday for talks.

Pinamonti could become Inter’s fourth choice striker but in the event that there is a rupture and Pinamonti does not go to Inter and stays at Genoa, Juventus could possibly move for him. If he returns to Inter it is difficult to imagine direct negotiations between the two arch-rivals.

The report from the Turin based news outlet explains that Inter are also currently focused on trimming down the squad.

Diego Godin, Andrea Ranocchia, Kwadwo Asamoah, Dalbert, Antonio Candreva, Matias Vecino, Marcelo Brozovic, Joao Mario, Christian Eriksen, Radja Nainggolan and Ivan Perisic are all players who could potentially leave.
