It seems like Newcastle and West Ham are both interested in Dalbert Henrique, who is currently a part of Inter Milan FC. But what will the future be for the Brazilian player?

Back when he played for Nice, Dalbert was an excellent target for teams like Liverpool. But he moved to the Inter instead. He hasn’t been doing well in the Serie A while playing for the Italian giants. He spent the last season, which was his third-ever since he joined Inter Milan, on loan with Fiorentina.

After making 34 appearances with Fiorentina as a full-back, he has come back to Inter Milan. But his stay in Inter has not been solid at all, as the team are holding him out for €20 million according to several reports. It seems the club is keen on raising money for Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante if recent reports are anything to go buy.

Recently, two Premier League teams showed interest in the Brazilian left-back. Both, West Ham and Newcastle, are now weighing their bids up for him according to several reports.

The left-back defender doesn’t seem to be a part of Inter head coach Antonio Conte’s future plans. That’s why he might set out on a new adventure in England with either Newcastle or West Ham.

While Newcastle wants the left-back on their team, paying €20 million might make them lose interest in the player.

Primarily because they have also had their eyes on Sassuolo’s Rogerio. If they want to, they could get Rogerio on their team and spend €6 million less than they would have to with Dalbert.

Dalbert did receive some offers from the Premier League’s intermediaries. However, he firmly rejected the proposals he got from Turkey.

Since the left-back is looking for a team that could provide him with plenty of opportunities and room to grow, he could potentially head back to Fiorentina. But since the Serie A side is not willing to meet the €20 million asking price, it might come down to West Ham and Newcastle.

As mentioned above, Newcastle might move towards Sassuolo’s Rogerio, leaving the left-back for West Ham. But the Hammers might end up competing with Sassuolo for the left-back who is currently at Inter. Quite complicated, isn’t it?

For anyone that knows West Ham, it’s not difficult to see that they might need a boost in several ways at the moment. After they sold Grady Diangana to West Brom, the morale in the team has been relatively low lately. Speaking in football terms, the Hammers don’t have good left-back options.

People following the lines.com might know that Aaron Cresswell has not been on top of his game ever since his injury. Over the last three years, Cresswell has been on quite a decline.

The other option would be Arthur Masuaku, who has been very inconsistent in his performances ever since he joined the team. But Arthur is the most in-form of the two, and which is why he might still have a future with West Ham.

But considering both the options, Dalbert would undoubtedly be an upgrade for the Hammers. Dalbert managed to assist in nine goals in all of his 34 appearances with the Fiorentina. On the other hand, Cresswell didn’t assist any goals for West Ham last season, and Masuaku did manage to have an assist with a single goal.

However, Cresswell did manage to get three goals in total for the Hammers. Also, Masuaku had one of the most unforgettable strikes in the preseason.

But regardless of the current options, Dalbert most certainly has a lot to offer West Ham. That’s all because he is a consistent threat, unlike the current Hammer options.

When comparing Dalbert’s last season with Fiorentina, defensively speaking, he had a part in eight of the team’s clean sheets last season. On the other hand, the Hammers only managed to get up to seven in the previous season of the Premier League.

There are some rumors that Inter, might end up loaning out their left-back to West Ham for a season. That option could be really good for the team, as the deal would become incredibly affordable.

While the Brazilian left-back might not be the first option for the West Ham fans, getting him from Inter Milan would be incredibly beneficial for them.
