Cagliari will finalise the signing of Inter defender Diego Godin tomorrow according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia journalist and transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio.

According to what Di Marzio reported moments ago live on air during his show Calciomercato L’Originale, Godin has reached an agreement with Inter over severance pay, which was the final hurdle needing overcome before he could complete a move to the Sardinian club on a three year deal.

Di Marzio adds that with Godin’s departrure from the club, Inter management expect the go ahead from president Steven Zhang to finalise the deal for Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal.

There has been an agreement in place between Inter and Barcelona for some time over Vidal but Inter wanted to offload a player first.

Tomorrow the final details will be ironed out and between Sunday and Monday Vidal will travel to Milan in order to complete his transfer to the Nerazzurri club.
