Hellas Verona manager Ivan Juric has revealed that he would like to have young Inter striker Eddie Salcedo back at the club.

Salcedo spent the duration of the 2019/20 season on loan at the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi and clearly made an impression on Juric given he wants him back.

Salcedo has featured for Inter during pre-season and there have been some reports that suggested he could be utilised as a fourth choice striker but the imminent arrival of Andrea Pinamonti would imply that Salcedo’s immediate future is likely to be away from Inter.

“Salcedo was growing but he is not ours. The others inevitably decide the price but I would like to have him,” Juric explained at a press conference earlier on today.

The 45-year-old Croatian coach then went on to speak about Federico Dimarco’s return to the club on a loan with option to buy basis from Inter.

Dimarco, like Salcedo, spent time on loan at Hellas Verona last season and Juric is of the belief that the former Italian youth national team player is coming along well under his guidance.

“I think it was important that he spent six months with us. He knows exactly what he has to do, he is growing well for me.”
