Inter are the team most interested in signing Barcelona striker Luis Suarez according to a report from Spanish football journalist Francesc Aguilar, who works for Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo.
As per Aguilar, who took to social media platform Twitter to share the news, Juventus have taken a back seat in the race to sign Suarez and it is now Inter who are most interested in adding the experienced Uruguayan national team player to their ranks.
Aguilar then points out that if Inter succeed in bringing the former Liverpool player to the club, they will have an attacking department consisting of Suarez, Romelu Lukaku, Lautaro Martinez and Alexis Sanchez.
Suarez has been with Barcelona since the Summer of 2014 and has just under a year left to run on his contract with the Catalonia based club.
Since joining them, the 33-year-old has made 283 appearances across all competitions, in which he has scored an impressive 198 goals and tallied 109 assists.
Aguilar posted: “Juventus, for the moment, as I told you yesterday, is taking a back seat for Luis Suárez, who has Inter as the club most interested in his services. The Nerazzurri club would have a quad of goalscorers with Lukaku, Lautaro, Sánchez and Suárez. Not bad for Conte.”
