Lautaro Martinez could still move to Barcelona before the transfer window closes in a few weeks time according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Barcelona have been courting Lautaro for a considerable amount of time and if they manage to get a deal done, it is possible that Luis Suarez could be his replacement at Inter if he manages to acquire Italian citizenship.

The Uruguayan could in fact be part of a swap deal that seems far from realistic as of today.

This past season Lautaro made 49 appearances across all competitions, in which he scored a career high 21 goals and tallied seven assists for his teammates.

23-year-old Argentine national team star Lautaro may not be the only player to leave Inter by the end of the transfer window with the report from the Turin based news outlet claiming that youngsters Sebastiano Esposito and Eddie Salcedo could both also be moved on.
