It is probable that Andrea Pinamonti will fulfill the role of fourth choice striker upon his return to Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inter have agreed to a loan with obligation to buy deal with Genoa to bring the Inter youth academy graduate back to the club. Inter will pay €5 million for the loan and a further €14 million to sign him outright for a total value of €19 million.

Pinamonti’s return to Inter is yet to be officially confirmed but the report explains that after undergoing his medical yesterday, he will train alongside his Inter teammates today.

The report adds that it is probable that he becomes the fourth choice striker and one of the reasons for this is because if they loan him out and he enhances himself, he would return to Inter with just a year left on his contract therefore if he is to go out on loan his contract would need to be extended past 2022.
